Our Story: Honouring David’s Legacy
BAMBAM Against Bullies & Abuse (BAMBAM) was founded in 2020 by a family determined to honour the memory of David – a young man affectionately known as BAMBAM. After moving from Scotland to Australia, David experienced constant bullying at school due to his accent. He dreamed of helping others by joining BACA (Bikers Against Child Abuse). Tragically, David passed away in an accident before he could achieve that dream.
Inspired by his values of courage, compassion, and empowerment, BAMBAM was created to ensure no child feels invisible or alone. Every initiative we launch carries his spirit forward.
Why We’re Here
Our mission is both simple and powerful: to support children experiencing bullying by addressing their practical needs and nurturing their emotional wellbeing. Sadly, many children are singled out simply because they lack school essentials, warm clothing, or seasonal gifts. We’re here to change that.
We believe every child deserves to feel secure, included, and respected.
From fully stocked backpacks to Christmas presents and Easter treats – we strive to support families during difficult times. Every program promotes inclusion, dignity, and care for every child.
